About this repair

Your brakes are the one system you cannot afford to guess about. We inspect the whole braking system, tell you what is worn and what is not, and repair only what the car needs.

Signs you need it

  • A squeal, grind or scraping noise when you brake
  • The pedal feels soft, sinks or pulses under your foot
  • The car pulls to one side when you stop
  • A brake or ABS warning light stays on

Common questions

How do I know my brake pads are worn?

The usual signs are a high-pitched squeal, a grinding noise, a longer stopping distance or a warning light. The only way to be sure is to measure the pads, which is part of a brake inspection.

Do rotors have to be replaced with the pads?

Not always. If the rotors are thick enough and smooth, they can stay. If they are warped, scored or worn thin, new pads on old rotors will not stop well and will wear out fast.

We also handle the heavy jobs

If the inspection finds something deeper, engine, transmission and drivetrain work is what we do best.
